It has been a good first year but we are continually striving to make improvements at The Cedars Academy. Our key priorities next academic year will be to: ensure disadvantaged pupils achieve in line with other pupils; embed careers information and guidance into the key stage 3 curriculum; embed British Values at the heart of the Academy and improve our communication with parents.
Careers Information Advice and Guidance
We are keen to offer pupils at The Cedars Academy more opportunities to learn about the world of work and inspire them to gain entry to the best jobs and professions when they leave school. We have organised a series of events for the next academic year including an Industry Day. I would love to invite any parents that feel they could offer pupils expertise in learning about jobs and professions or work experience placements to contact me at the Academy via my PA Karen Baggott at firstname.lastname@example.org .
I would like to thank parents for their continued support, working together in partnership we can create an outstanding Academy for our community.
