Science Teacher Job Description Person Spec

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and inspirational permanent teacher to join our Science Department as a Science Teacher from August 2017. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and effective teacher to join our good academy. Application welcomed from NQTs.

The Cedars Academy Science Department comprises eight Science Teachers and two Science Technicians. We currently offer the following courses to pupils: KS3 Science, GCSE in Combined Science Trilogy and Triple Science. A Levels are available in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

The Lionheart Academies Trust- GCSE and A Level Revision Programme

The Lionheart Academies Trust is recruiting teaching staff to be a part of its ambitious Easter and May Holiday Revision Programme for GCSE and A-Level.

We are looking for ambitious and motivated subject specialist teaching staff who could deliver sessions for Maths, English, Sciences, French, Spanish, History and Geography.

An up to date experience of delivering GCSE and A Level is an essential requirement.

Payment will be set at £150 per day, with up to five days across the Easter and May half term holiday periods.

Teaching sessions will be taking place at both of our secondary school sites, Beauchamp College in Oadby and The Cedars Academy in Birstall.
