Behaviour Videos

Our aim is to create an amazing school at the heart of the community in Birstall. A school where lessons are free of disruption so teachers can just get on and teach, and pupils can get on and learn. A school where children feel safe and can thrive in a calm, focussed environment. In order to achieve this we know we need to do things a little differently to other schools. We understand that teaching children how to behave is just as much a part of the curriculum as the subjects we teach and so we incorporate the explicit teaching of positive behaviours into every lesson. Our Associate Principal, Mr James Rolfe, and Behaviour Lead, Mr Steve Hill, have created the following Behaviour video catalogue to help our parent community understand how we teach Behaviour.
