Maths

Our Vision

All pupils are confident in maths; equipped with strong procedural and conceptual understanding for future education and for life.

At the Cedars Academy, we want our pupils not just to be able to solve a mathematical problem, but to be able to understand what they are doing and explain their reasoning why. We aim to build their confidence at number work and problem solving enabling them to apply what they’ve learnt to a wide range of problems that they may encounter in future life.
